Conviron Announces Hiring
of Containment Specialist
Conviron President and CEO, Steven Kroft, today announced that Dann
Adair has joined the Company as Greenhouse Application Specialist.
As a member of Conviron's greenhouse team, Mr. Adair will work with
Conviron engineers and clients to identify research requirements
and provide innovative and appropriate solutions.
"When we decided to make our investment in the development
and supply of research greenhouses, we identified a few key players
in the industry that we felt could make an immediate impact in terms
of expertise. Dann was at the top of our list," stated Mr.
Kroft.
Mr. Adair has been involved in plant growth and greenhouse facility
management for in excess of 25 years. He received his Bachelor of
Science/Integrated Pest Management from the University of Minnesota
in 1991. He has provided greenhouse consulting services to some
of the world's leading researchers, and has published extensively
in the area of greenhouse design and greenhouse containment. His
most widely known work, A Practical Guide to Containment: Greenhouse
Research with Transgenic Plants and Microbes, is used by greenhouse
designers and facility managers throughout North America. Dann is
a founding member of the Association of Education and Research Greenhouse
Curators (AERGC).
Conviron is a world leader in the design and manufacture of plant

research facilities at many of the world's leading institutions.
