Conviron President and CEO Steven Kroft joins host Robert Graham on the nationally-aired "Canada Business Report"

TORONTO, April 28, 2005 /CNW/ ----On this edition of Canada's Business Report,
host Robert Graham speaks with the top executive of a Winnipeg-based world
leader that is little known outside the plant-research community.
Graham speaks with Steve Kroft, President and Chief Executive Officer of
Conviron, the world's biggest supplier of plant growth chambers and rooms,
including plant production rooms, tissue culture chambers, incubators and
germinators.
Kroft says he used to tell people that Conviron's controlled environment
systems "simulate outdoor environments, but in fact they greatly improve upon
them. We control temperature, light, humidity, CO2, (and) irrigation to very
precise levels because institutions and researchers require precision and
uniformity, as well as repeatability, in their research."
