Conviron Opens UK Office
As a result of the growth of its business in the United Kingdom
and throughout Europe, Conviron announced today the opening of its
second European office, located in Edinburgh, Scotland. Conviron
will operate in the UK in conjunction with its newly formed subsidiary,
Conviron Europe Ltd.
Conviron's President and CEO, Steven Kroft, said the establishment
of a UK-based organization will significantly increase the level
of service and general support that Conviron is now able to provide
in the territory. "As the demand for Conviron equipment and
design services continues to grow in the UK, a direct, permanent,
local presence will provide for a more responsive and efficient
operation," said Mr. Kroft, who also thanked Conviron's former
distributor, Scientific Laboratory Supplies (SLS), for its work
in managing its distribution in the UK over the past few years.
The UK operation will be managed by Philip Iveson. An electrical
engineer, Mr. Iveson joins the Conviron team with several years
experience in design and project management. He has worked previously
with Conviron on major projects in the UK. Mr. Iveson will have
the full support of Conviron's engineering and technical team, which
is comprised of more than 25 engineers, technologists, controls
and IT specialists, and will work closely with Conviron's Export
Sales Manager, Glen McDonald. Conviron and its UK office will direct
all service activities, using trained technical service agents that
are already familiar with Conviron equipment.
Conviron is the world leader in the design, manufacture and installation

humidity and light for research and production applications. Conviron
products are known and used extensively throughout the world for
agricultural and food research, and many other life science applications
such as pharmaceutical and neutraceutical testing and research.
