Conviron to Supply Equipment to Prestigious Plant Science Center

Winnipeg-based Conviron has been selected by the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center in St. Louis, Missouri, to supply plant growth chambers and rooms to the prestigious facility, which is set to open in the Summer of 2001. Under the terms of the agreement, Conviron will supply more than fifty units to the Danforth Center, comprised of a variety of reach-in and walk-in designs. The Danforth Center is the product of an innovative partnership between universities and private enterprise, with support from the State of Missouri and the St. Louis-based Danforth Foundation. "This is truly an innovative initiative", stated Conviron president and CEO Steven Kroft. "The Danforth Center will be the home to many of the world's leaders in plant science research and will undoubtedly produce some fascinating and important results. Conviron is extremely proud to play a role in that process."
