In the mid 1970's, Conviron made the decision to design and manufacture
its own control system. This decision lead to the design and introduction
of the CMP family of controls in 1979. Since then, the CMP family
has borne 3 generations and its current offering, the CMP4030, is
considered the world standard for control systems in this industry.
The success of these controls can be attributed to some very basic
principles established at the inception of the CMP family. First,
they must be simple to use because our products have many users
across many borders. Second, they must be flexible enough to meet
the current and future needs of our customers. Finally, they must
be reliable to ensure the on-going integrity of our users' work.
