Shading & Curtain Systems

As with other Conviron Research Greenhouse elements, various solutions are available for shading. One such solution integrates curtain system hardware with the greenhouse structure to reduce the obstruction of natural light when the curtains are retracted. Overhead curtains travel horizontally from truss to truss on motor driven cables while vertical curtains are installed on selected sidewalls. All curtains can be controlled by the greenhouse computer control system.
