Green Leaf Award presented to UWA
Oct 6, 2022
The University of Western Australia has been presented with the Conviron Green Leaf Award™. Dave Napier, Conviron’s Territory Manager for Australia was on hand to present the award to the team at UWA.
UWA takes its place along many other award recipients including the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, the University of Sheffield, the International Rice Research Institute and the University of Washington.
The relationship between Conviron and UWA dates back to 2010. Since then the team at UWA have pushed the limits of their plant growth chambers and rooms and have recently undertaken upgrades such as with their control systems and new LED lighting to improve energy efficiencies and further optimize performance.
Dave Napier reflects on the long history of cooperation with UWA and remarked how the partnership extends beyond just being an equipment supplier. “We have built a close working relationship with the team at UWA over the years. We’ve worked with them to help make sure their scientists have the latest grow room technology, can extract the absolute maximum out of the equipment and advance their research objectives”.
Conviron is proud to present the Green Leaf Award to UWA and recognize the university's significant investment in the latest plant growth chamber and room technology – helping them stay on the cutting edge of plant science research.
