Conviron announced today the release of its MTPS Series multi-tier walk-in plant growth room with a new Flex option that provides added flexibility for research programs that vary in plant size and environmental requirements. The Flex configuration allows the MTPS plant growth room to be converted from a tall plant/high light/single tier configuration to a short plant/low light/two or three-tier configuration.

The new Williams Hall greenhouse complex on the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center’s Wooster campus is much more than a replacement for the greenhouse lost to a tornado almost five years ago: It’s a state-of-the-art facility that will help advance plant research and strengthen Ohio agriculture. The greenhouses are controlled by an Argus Titan 2 environmental control system, which allows each researcher to independently control the environmental parameters for his or her experiments and plants.
