Argus Control Systems used in Ebola research at University of Guelph

Canadian researchers are finding new ways to combat the spread of Ebola by producing vaccines developed from antibodies in tobacco plants. Biotech company Plantform is using the state-of-the-art facilities at the University of Guelph to grow plants that can be rapidly harvested and purified for testing in the U.S.

Argus’ advanced monitoring and control systems are in use within a wide range of research programs throughout the university, including the communal greenhouse shown in this video. Click here to view the CTV article “How tobacco plants can help fight Ebola”
