With configurable options for up to five tiers of growth area and energy-efficient LED lighting—including independently controlled far-red wavelengths—the GEN1000 supports precise manipulation of photoperiods and spectral quality, enabling studies in plant morphology, photosynthesis, and stress physiology.
Its robust environmental control capabilities allow researchers to simulate extreme temperature and light conditions, making it ideal for investigations involving tall crop species, in vitro tissue culture, seed viability and storage, as well as aquatic plant systems including algae and phytoplankton.
To further support specialized research needs, the GEN1000 offers optional features such as:
