Lumina
Think Big. Grow Tall.
Conviron Lumina™ is a next‑generation, research‑grade walk‑in plant growth room designed to support controlled‑environment plant science at the highest level.
Designed with flexibility in mind, it’s single tier format accommodates tall plants grown
to maturity with high photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD) requirements while retaining versatility for shorter plants.

The system integrates high‑intensity lighting (up to 2,300 μmol/m²/sec), downward airflow, and precision climate control to maintain uniform environmental conditions.
Lumina enables high experimental reproducibility and consistency required across a wide range of phenotypic and physiological experiments – making it ideal for advanced investigations in plant biology, plant physiology, phytopathology, and agronomic trait expression.
Uninterrupted Canopy Lighting
Lumina uniquely features uninterrupted canopy lighting throughout the entirely of the room, enabling an open floor plan for flexible plant loading and space usage. Devoid of a fixed center aisle, it’s ideal for plant loading on benches, in a u-shape array, directly on the floor, or anything in between:

The fully illuminated ceiling offers unique experimental advantages for researchers wanting to integrate specialized technologies requiring any or all parts of the available floor space.
Several floor-based technologies benefit from a fully lit ceiling architecture including compact or large-scale plant phenotyping equipment, conveyor systems, rhizotrons,or other advanced equipment.
Stratos
Grow More. On Every Level.
Conviron Stratos™ is a versatile, research-grade walk-in growth room designed to help plant scientists maximize their growth area and configure their room to meet their needs.
Whether you’re working with a single-tier or multi-tier setup, plant research, production or tissue culture, with Stratos you can adapt to new protocols, scale experiments without changing platforms, and get more long-term utility from a single system than traditional growth rooms.

Optimized For Any Workflow.
Stratos™ incorporates a common architectural feature: an integrated, illuminated shelving affixed to the walls, the ceiling, or within carts. All are engineered to provide ample growth area and flexibility – without compromising environmental uniformity.
The Stratos platform features a fixed central aisle that streamlines researcher access and supports both single-tier and multi-tier configurations, accommodating virtually any experimental design and plant phenotyping workflow:

Which Stratos Is Right For Me?
The solution depends on your plants and your objectives. Are you growing short or tall crops? Supporting commercial production within a facility? Or do you require a completely different configuration? Whatever your needs, the Stratos platform is designed to adapt - delivering flexible configurations to support virtually any application.

Energy Saving LEDs
On both Lumina and Stratos, broad-spectrum LEDs provide reliable and long life span lighting for a wide range of plant research applications. Optional far-red output supports studies on a wide array of light responses such as flower and shade adaptation. Additional supplemental channels are also available (consult factory).
