Congratulations Reg Quiring on 20 years!
Apr 13, 2017
The North Central Extension and Research Activity–101 (NCERA-101) is a committee of the USDA organized to help plant scientists understand how to use controlled environment technology, exchange information on new technologies and address challenges associated with controlled environments systems usage.
From April 9-12, 2017 NCERA-101 held its 42nd annual meeting in Pacific Grove, California. During this year’s meeting, the committee honored a number of long standing members, including Conviron’s Reg Quiring, with an award of appreciation for many years of involvement with the controlled environment community.
“It has been an honor to be involved with NCERA-101 over the years. I have made many friends as a participant in the committee and have delighted in the robust exchange of technical information over the years” said Quiring.
Reg Quiring is Conviron’s Chief Designer and leads many engineering developments. Reg is recognized by many as the most experienced controlled environment designer in the world, with many of today’s plant growth chambers and rooms being the outcome of his design. Reg is an active participant and contributor to the industry’s largest information exchange seminars and is a past President of the Committee on Controlled Environment Technology and Use.
