Conviron - inspiring the next generation

On March 1, Conviron participated in the first ever Youth CEO Career Connections. The career symposium was organized by the Business Council of Manitoba (BCM) and brought together Indigenous youth, new Canadians and those in adult education from Winnipeg and remote areas. The event involved over 250 participants, all having opportunities to meet with company leaders who provided background information on their organizations, career advice and gave participants an opportunity to ask questions. Several prominent Manitoba based organizations participated, including Conviron.

“This meeting was an excellent opportunity to engage with youth one-on-one. They are our future colleagues and drivers of our economy, and it is critical that we as today’s business leaders take steps to make them feel they belong, to inspire them to want to get an education, to want to join the work force, and to want to pursue a fulfilling career. If we can make them aware of the excellent opportunities that exist right here in Manitoba, they will take up the challenge,” said Steve Kroft, Conviron’s President & CEO.
